The next generation in specialty cooling systems. The SC Series embodies the latest and greatest system design technologies in an all-new housing design. Developed upon feedback directly from customers and installers, the unit incorporates a variety of high end components at an affordable price point. The SC Series is a direct replacement for one of the most well known cellar cooling units, the XLT. Just like the series it replaces, the units come in 5 models that effectively cool a 350 to 2000 cu. ft. properly insulated environment. Designed for simple through-the-wall installation, the unit fits between standard wall studs and a single piece mounting bracket eliminates the need for a support shelf. The SC has a 30°F temperature differential. In order to keep your cellar at 55°F, the area the unit exhausts into should not exceed 85°F. This makes interior installation ideal for SC series units.

Product Upgrades

1. Larger, thicker coils offer increased capacity for cooling the cellar. At the same time oversized coils create more effective heat dissipation on the condenser side of the cooling unit where most problematic issues associated with poor ventilation and thus poor performance occur.
2. New dynamic airflow occurs with strategically mounting the fans at a 45 degree angle facing upwards. This design offers superior air distribution inside the cellar to assure that cooling occurs evenly throughout the cellar. On the condenser side, customers have the option of flush mounting the units or (our preferred method of ) mounting the units with the rear protruding into the venting space 5 inches. This new mounting option allows the fan system to better dissipate the heat by moving it away for the cooling unit and circulating the air more effectively in order to maximize performance.
3. Our new Intelligent (I) controller is a major improvement over the previous PDT series controller. This controller monitors the performance of the cooling unit and will make necessary adjustments when adverse conditions occur (such as a clogged condenser coil) threaten to damage or compromise the units ability to operate effectively. An alarm system will notify the owner when a problem has occurred and the "easy to use" key pad will display the proper code for accessing the solution.
4. The New SC series is more aesthetically pleasing and blends well into the cellar environment. A tough durable coating inside and out will protect the structural integrity of the metal for many years to come.
